This Talavera ceramic tile is hand-painted in a solid blue color. As a first step in the manufacturing process, the whole tile is painted white. As a result of painting the blue over the white, this tile is named blue over white. This tile can be used as an accent piece or as a decorative wall by itself as shown in the second picture where Royal Crown Talavera Mexican Tile is used as a border.This tile can be used in small patches or entire walls as a field tile, as you can see from the pattern found in the last picture.
